1. Go up to the Moncloa Lighthouse:
If you want to have a panoramic view of the city, you can climb this tower of more than 100 meters for only 3€. You will have incredible views of the city where you can see all the emblematic buildings and monuments of the city.

2. Go up to the terrace of the Círculo de Bellas Artes:
Undoubtedly one of the most popular and visited places in Madrid. If you are going to be here for a while, we recommend you to take an afternoon to visit it. The views from this rooftop are some of the most spectacular. You can buy the ticket for 4€ and if you have the Carnet Joven for 3€.

3. Madrid Cable Car:
A good weekend plan is that you get on the Casa de Campo cable car. If you are not afraid of heights or suffer from vertigo, this ride is ideal for you. The ride lasts approximately 11 minutes and you will be able to see the city and the park from another point of view. The price is 4,50€ each way. Return trip 6€.

4. Europa Park:
On the outskirts of Madrid, particularly in Torrejón de Ardoz, is this unique Park. It has smaller scale replicas of 17 monuments of Europe, such as: The London Bridge (Tower Bridge), the Trevi Fountain, the Eiffel Tower, the Brandenburg Gate and even has an original fragment of the Berlin Wall. The best thing is that the entrance is free, so you will only spend on transportation, from the train station you will have to take a bus that will cost about 5€ round trip.

5. Visit the ghost station of Chamberí:
For starters the entrance to the station is free. It is part of the first metro line that opened in 1919. In the 60s it was closed because it could not be lengthened to match the length of the new trains. The old design remains to this day, which is why if you visit the station you will feel like you have been teleported back in time, with its old advertisements and ceramic interior.

6. Visit the Museums:
All museums have a day when admission is free, but go early to make sure you don’t spend too much time waiting in line to get in.

You’ll be able to get it everywhere for an affordable price, a Madrilenian classic. And if you want to try the best and most famous of the city we recommend: San Ginés.

8. Take a boat ride in Retiro Park:
A weekend plan that if you are accompanied will be guaranteed laughs. The price of the boat is 6 euros on weekdays and 8 euros on weekends and holidays… Yes, it’s a little more than 5 euros, but it’s really worth it. And what’s more, if you go in a group, it will be super cheap and fun.

9. Drink vermouth at La Ardosa:
For only 1,40€ you can delight yourself with the best vermouth in the city in a centenary tavern from 1892. It is located in the Malasaña neighborhood in the heart of Madrid. As soon as you walk through the doors you will feel like you are in the 50’s. Don’t leave without trying their typical tapas and delicious snacks.

10. Visit the Rastro:
This is the most famous flea market in the city. It occupies several blocks of the Latina neighborhood and among its stalls you can find practically everything: clothes, crafts, gifts, souvenirs, plants, books, jewelry and much more. And finally, since you are in La Latina, go for a few beers in any bar, you won’t be able to resist.
